Mackillop


Oh what a wonderful and helpful person! Did you know who I am talking about? Mary Mackillop helped  a lot of people who were poor. She believed in God and Jesus. Mary Mackillop was kind and generous to children. She provided free education  so they could read and write. She attended church every Sunday and said her rosary daily and also assisted people that lived in poverty. Mary Mackillop would  take people to school even though there were no buses and  cars. She became the first Australian saint. Did you know that?Her work included  the values of Respect,  Love and service, peace and joy and social justice. She was born in 1842,died in 1932 and was made a saint in 2012.
